Wi-Fi control - how does it function, is it available in every unit?

Controlling air-conditioning devices with use of Wi-Fi has become increasingly popular. All models in Midea's product line-up can be controlled this way. The only thing that is still needed for the availability of this function is a Wi-Fi interface, installed for example inside of the wall-mounted indoor unit and a smartphone with installed application, which gives us an access to the whole functionality of the unit.
